Job Details:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs receptionist/secretarial duties on Patient Care units and functions as the central communication source in the Nursing Station.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
1.Ability to read and write and communicate in English and the level of a high school senior.
2.Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems such as MEDITECH Admissions and PCI, or similar computer systems.
3.Keyboarding at 30 words per minute.
4.Successful completion of medical terminology course with a Grade C or better, or successfully pass medical terminology challenge exam with 80%25%20or better.
5.Minimum six (6) months experience in patient registration, admitting,
EmergencyCenter, nurse's aide, medical secretary, medical receptionist, or similar position.
Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 3 months of new position for Unit Secretaries in the Psych Center.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
