PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications. Directs and guides patient care, teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing within the realm of Hospital Policy.Maintains and delivers the highest quality customer service standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Graduate of an accreditedSchoolofNursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in theCommonwealthofMassachusetts.
Basic Life Support Certification required.
Successful passage of CCHC''s Pharmacology exam.
Must read, write and communicate in English.Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Program challenge exam or Course within 6 months of new position.
Current chemotherapy/biotherapy card and Chemotherapy Practicumpreferred. Per Diem RNs are not required to obtain chemotherapy/biotherapy card or practicum.
BSN Preferred.Recent Med/Surg. experience and Med/Surg. certification preferred.
HR Use Only:Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
