PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Delivers patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.Administers and monitors patient responses to all medications. Directs and guides patient care, teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing within the realm of Hospital Policy.Maintains and delivers the highest quality customer service standards.
CVICU:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support Certification required.
Successful passage of CCHC s Pharmacology exam.
Must read, write and communicate in English.
Critical care experience preferred.
Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam within probationary period.
ACLS certification within 6 months of position and must maintain certification.
IABP within 6 months of position.
Demonstrated skills in ventilator care of patient, hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacemaker, chest tubes, IABP and strong skills with complex postoperative care of cardiovascular patients required.
BSN Preferred.
CVICU experience preferred.
ABG Certification preferred.
ICU:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Demonstrated skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring (ICU) preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
