Summary:
This position is part of a small, close-knit team and often acts as the front face of the YMCA fundraising office, greeting donors and visitors to the executive and fundraising offices, coordinating donor event outreach and registration, and supporting fundraisers with donation reporting and thank you letters, mailing list pulls.
This position also coordinates logistics for small donor events; our annual golf tournament, teen achievers benefit dinner, and annual community breakfast; and our team participation in community events such as Second Summer Cycle and Falmouth Road Race Responsible for day-to-day management of the donor database including setting up events and fundraising campaigns, entering gifts and pledges, reporting, and maintaining integrity and security of donor database, systems, and processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for the maintenance of the donor database including entry of donations, pledges, sponsorships, donor and campaigner information; creation of fundraising campaigns; and the generation of reports, billing/invoicing, and mailing lists.
Communicate with various donors, corporations, foundations, event sponsors, and vendors including generating weekly thank you letters.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete files on the shared network as well as paper back-ups as needed.
Coordinate event logistics including managing invitation mailings, registration, vendor contracts, sponsor and attendee communications.
Systematically distributes donor information and reports to various donors, stakeholders such as volunteers, board members, and staff including but not limited to contacts, thank you notes, gift acknowledgements, and annual tax statements as scheduled.
Audits donor information and database for accuracy and completeness and updates as necessary.
Works in partnership with Payroll & Benefits Administrator and outside businesses to reconcile payroll deduction for employee donor gifts and matching companies on a monthly schedule.

Provides excellent communication with a high level of tact and discretion.
Maintains strict confidentiality of highly sensitive donor information.
Supports special projects as assigned.
