As the manager of the flow of business at A Baby Center the Program Manager will interact and be responsible for the volunteers and their scheduling.
The Program Manager is also responsible for interpreting daily business and guiding part time staff in ways that benefit ABC's operations, (shelves are stocked, and space is maintained, organized and clean).
The primary purpose of A Baby Center is to provide baby supplies and assistance to income-eligible families with children under the age of five who live on Cape Cod and the the Islands.
Acting as a spokesperson for the Program, and as a representative of the Cape Cod Council of Churches, the Program Manager will at all times uphold the Mission of A Baby Center:
to serve without judgement the youngest in our community.
This position requires upper to 27 hours per week.
No benefits are provided with the exception of sick time, vacation time, and comp time following the guidelines set forth by the Cape Cod Council of Churches' Policy and Procedures Manual.
The first three months of employment are to be considered trial employment.
This period of time will be used to ensure that a good fit exists between the candidate and the job.
If the determination is made that the fit is not satisfactory, then employment may be ended at that point during that period.
At three months, after a positive performance review, the job will be considered secure and any termination would then follow the guidelines in the Policy and Procedures Manual.
This candidate would be eligible to apply for a permanent position at A Baby Center.
