Summary:
Supervise Team Members in the Receiving department and oversee the accurate and timely receipt of both product and non-products received into the store. Supervise freight from the receiving area to the sales floor and departmental staging areas and storage rooms. Support Store Leadership in maintaining regional standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving products for all teams, checking that product lists on packing slips are accurate, recording and organizing invoices, and maintaining an orderly and efficient receiving area.
DUTIES:
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Store Receiver
Receive all products for the store or facility, inspecting it for temperature (if perishable), shortages, overages, damage, and quality.
Report any receiving discrepancies to Team Leaders and Buyers.
Comply with Regional receiving processes and assure the keeping of invoice files and records.
Partner with Product Team Leaders and Buyers to ensure proper purchase order protocols are followed and ensure a smooth and complete ordering and receiving process.
Partner with suppliers to ensure deliveries only arrive during posted receiving hours and are accompanied by required paperwork.
Supervises other Receiving Team Members and assure their knowledge, compliance and understanding of all receiving procedures.
Follow Good Organic guidelines as they pertain to receiving practices.
Understand all safety and sanitation procedures and assure safe back room area.
Perform minor general maintenance as needed.
Conduct Job Dialogues and performance management of the Receiving team as necessary.
Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.__
Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

REQUIREMENTS:
Good computer skills, including MS Office Suite, IRMA, PeopleSoft and StoreOps.
Must be able to communicate and read in English.
Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Detail oriented and excellent follow through to ensure the buying and receiving process runs smoothly and is closed out appropriately.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work in a highly interdependent work flow process where each segment of a process relies heavily on the other parts.
Ability to follow instructions and established uniform procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize, make good decisions and multi-task.
Ability to perform simple math operations.
Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 4 hours without a break.
Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
Essential Job Functions:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
